Nick Kurtz is a self-confessed “Civil War Nut”. He loves hunting out and visiting many of the U.S. Civil War sites and battlefields. His picturesque and fact-filled Web Log is heavily illustrated with his own photographs taken on his visits.

This Weblog is kept by Sharon E. Williams. She says she was a researcher, writer and editor. Now she calls herself an amateur historian and student. I like the depth of her site about Chicago.

  • Dear.Mr Doug Grant
    My name is Kyung-ho Choi
and I read your article about the bohemian athletic club.
Does it still exist?? and Does it have membership reciprocal relationship with bohemian club in San Francisco???

    Thank you..

  • Kyung-ho Choi:

Sorry, but the Bohemian Athletic Club of Brockville no longer exists, and the buildings have been torn down quite a while ago.

Come an visit anyway. There is an active rowing club, the Brockville Rowing Club on the water near the centre of the waterfront.

    Doug Grant
